About the Company

Gal Fest Canada is a Canadian company that has been organizing cultural, artistic, community, charitable, and international events for more than two decades.

The company's history began in 2002 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. Since its establishment, the primary mission of Gal Fest Canada has been to create high-quality events that bring people together, support Ukrainian culture, and promote the development of international cultural cooperation.

During its early years, the company successfully delivered dozens of cultural, artistic, and entertainment projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). These included events at the Golden Lion Restaurant & Night Club, the Kniazhyi Dvir Banquet Hall, as well as numerous seminars, conferences, concerts, cultural evenings, and other community events across the Greater Toronto Area.

Among the company's projects were the artistic program of the Golden Maple Festival, the Sorochynskyi Fair(2004–2010), Beach Jazz Fest, and many other events that became an important part of the community's cultural life.

The primary focus of Gal Fest Canada has always been, and continues to be, the organization and production of festivals, concerts, international cultural projects, charity events, official ceremonies, conferences, and public events of various scales.

From 2003 to 2014, in partnership with Gal Sound Ltd., the company provided complete technical and organizational support for events—from technical production to comprehensive event management.

During this period, Gal Fest Canada collaborated with many respected Canadian and international organizations, including:

  • Joy Smith Foundation;

  • Ukrainian World Congress (2004–2012);

  • World Federation of Ukrainian Women's Organizations (2003–2014);

  • Conference of Ukrainian Statehood Organizations of Canada (KUDOK);

  • League of Ukrainians of Canada;

  • League of Ukrainian Women of Canada;

  • Guardian Angels Ukraine;

  • numerous Canadian community, charitable, and cultural organizations;

  • Consulate General of Ukraine in Canada;

  • Consulate General of Poland in Canada.

The company also participated in organizing a number of events of national importance. In particular, it provided technical support for the official visit of the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, to Toronto in 2008, as well as the annual Ukraine Independence Day celebrations in Canada and many other important public and cultural events.

During 2016–2018, Gal Fest Canada actively participated in organizing charitable concerts and cultural events in the ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation) zone, together with well-known Ukrainian performers, artists, and creative groups.

Throughout its entire history, the company has continued to participate in projects aimed at developing international cultural cooperation, preserving historical heritage, supporting the arts, and promoting Ukrainian culture worldwide.

In 2024, the company's long-standing professional work was recognized when its Director was awarded the honorary state title "Honored Artist of Ukraine", acknowledging many years of contribution to the development of culture, international cooperation, and public service.

Today, Gal Fest Canada represents more than twenty years of experience in organizing festivals, concerts, official events, international cultural projects, charitable initiatives, and corporate events. We combine extensive experience, modern technologies, and high organizational standards to create events that leave lasting impressions while promoting cultural dialogue between Canada, Ukraine, and Europe.

We also provide visa assistance and comprehensive legal support for artists, musicians, and cultural professionals.

One of the company's most important original projects is the International Canada–Ukraine Festival "RODYNA" (Ottawa Weekend Fest) — a three-day international festival of music, culture, and family values that brings together friends of Ukraine from Canada and around the world.

The festival is dedicated to the bright memory of the legendary Ukrainian singer Nazariy Yaremchuk, whose творчість became a symbol of Ukrainian song, love for the homeland, and family values.

The purpose of the festival is to promote cultural heritage, contemporary music, discover new talents, and create an international artistic space where music becomes the language of unity, mutual understanding, and friendship.

The central event of the festival is the International Competition for Young Performers of Contemporary Song.

Participants from different age categories demonstrate their vocal talent before an international professional jury, which awards the Grand Prix and recognizes winners in various musical genres.

Beginning in 2027, Ottawa Weekend Fest will take place in the heart of Canada's capital, Ottawa, bringing together renowned performers, an internationally recognized jury, young artists, and guests, where the core values are Family, Creativity, Unity, and Mutual Respect.

One Festival. One Family. One Stage.
